Gels¶

This page draws each test gel in your browser when the page opens. It uses the same viewer the Python package carries, so what you see here is what a page written by the package shows.

The gels are the files in tests/gels/ in the repo. Most are the example gels of mbio, the lab's tools for cloning, and the note under each one says what it shows. Two are made by hand, at the end.

Rest the pointer on a band to see its size. If a gel cannot be drawn, its place on the page says why.

pcr-test-expected-bands¶

From mbio's tests. It has the only one of mbio's lanes with no band, and the only ladder listed largest first.

one-size¶

Made by hand. Every band is one size, so all of them sit in the middle of the gel.

long-names¶

Made by hand. A long title, ladder name and lane name, which wrap, and a word too long for any line. It also has a lane with no band.
